Chart notes
OTTER CREEK broke sharply to take the early lead on the inside and kicked clear in the stretch. SIR MENDEL raced off the pace, loomed boldly along the inside of the turn to rally in the stretch. SIR BANANA BRIAN stumbled out of the gate, steadily advanced up the backstretch and the turn three wide, to stalk the pace but could not close in the stretch. SHARP RED EAGLE raced behind the pace on the inside but never threatened. AVES MAKIN' WAVES stalked the pace from the two path before retreating at the three sixteenths. CASINO NIGHT trailed throughout, no factor.
