STAR ANISE was allowed to settle while racing two-wide, moved forward nearing the quarter pole, took the lead coming to the eighth pole and held PULPIT'S DREAM save. PULPIT'S DREAM hopped at the start then was unhurried, moved up three-wide on the turn, came four-wide into the stretch and closed strongly. HONEST ANGUS was reserved off the pace, came five-wide into the stretch and was rallying late. CHATON ROUGE hopped at the start then raced in the ack of the field, came six-wide into the stretch and gained her best stride too late. JUS PRESS STAR was allowed to settle, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. HAUNTRESS raced in the middle of the field while two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. CZAR'S BALLERINA saved ground racing in the middle of the pack and failed to menace. LUMINOUS FLIGHT saved ground chasing the pace, steadied in traffic nearing the quarter pole and finished willingly when clear. DOLLY'S GUITAR dueled with BLUE RIDGE QUEEN for the early lead form along the outside, shook that one off before going three furlongs to open a clear lead and then weakened when headed. BLUE RIDGE QUEEN dueled for the early lead from along the inside and tired.
