Chart notes
LOW DOSE broke well but ceded the lead to JADED SECRETS, tracked behind that one to the far turn, then took advantage of the opening on the rail to inherit the lead on the turn, finished up well and held safe to the line. JADED SECRETS sprinted to the lead then opened up on the first turn, jumped a shadow going into the last turn then went out to the three or four path, surrendered the lead but came back on in the stretch but gave way in the final yards. CHIEFS LIL PEARL ranged up to be three wide into the first turn and remained in that lane down the backstretch, and tried to rally on the far turn but was unable to cut into the margin of the leaders, but managed to hold third. RIVER OF AMBITION lost the path shortly after the break, took up, then took an odd step, was last early, then made a big sweeping move four wide on the last turn and was able to improve position. MIDNIGHT SYMPHONY broke slowly then was under a ride to regain contact with the field, continued to chase under a drive the rest of the way but made little impact. COWLITZ steadied early, then was a bit rank going into the first turn, was under a ride to keep pace and finished evenly. BLOWING BAYOU outrun near the back of the field and was never a threat.
