BROTHER TONY prompted the pace from outside, moved up on even terms at the halway point, inched ahead approaching the five-sixteenths pole, put away inner rival entering the lane, remained unchallenged into deep stretch, grew weary late but was able to hold. MY HERO stalked in the three path early, went three deep into the far turn, stayed off the fence to the stretch, chased after the winner outside GOODBYE DAL into the final furlong, then dug in late to draw alongside the winner approaching the wire but ran out of ground. GOODBYE DAL steadied between runners prior to the first turn, lugged out early on the bend, moved into range on the backstretch, chased three deep on the far turn, moved inward entering the lane, finished willingly down the stretch but could not summon the needed late kick. KID DYNASTY stepped to the front from inside and set a pressured pace, headed at the half-mile mark, dueled around the far turn, lost command outside the five-sixteenths pole, yielded into the stretch and weakened. TRAVAIL chased three wide then angled to the rail on the first turn, fell back to last in the middle stages, continued to save ground on the second bend, moved out at the top of the lane and passed tired rivals. NASSAU CIRCLE chased four, three, then two wide on the clubhouse turn, came under a ride still in the two path on the second bend, tipped out into the lane and weakened. CAGEY BURGLAR chased five then four wide early, angled in on the backstretch while moving forward, started to weaken along the rail on the second bend, had little left in the lane and was not persevered with.
