Chart notes
STAMP MY PASSPORT was closest in the two path early, applied pressure from outside in the middle stages, took over in upper stretch, lugged in at the eighth pole and held gamely. FEEL THE MAGIC settled four then three wide early, went two wide into the far turn, took aim four wide turning for home, bid from outside and got denied. TESSUTO bumped leaving the gate, tracked three then two wide on the clubhouse turn, drew closer in hand on the backstretch, chased along the fence around the far turn, bid inside the leader at the eighth pole but flattened out in deep stretch. CARVER sprinted to the front from inside, took pressure in the middle stages, headed with three-furlongs remaining, lost command in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. DEALERS SPECIAL chased wide through both turns and failed to rally when called upon. JIMMY BLUE JEANS tracked three wide around the first turn, went three deep into the second bend, moved into the three path around that turn, came four wide into the drive and weakened. SPUN NOT STIRRED broke a step slow, chased wide into the first turn then angled down to the two path, stayed off the rail up the backstretch, went three then two wide on the second bend, angled out into the lane and lacked further response. SPEARFISH saved ground from off the pace, asked two wide into the lane and had little left for the stretch run. SIXHOOFSEVENHOOF broke in and bumped, trailed two wide around the first turn, lagged behind on the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn and was outrun.
