Chart notes
SLICK MERLIN away alertly, set the pace racing with a clear lead, lugged out a bit on the turn, responded when set down in the stretch, raced a bit greenly, pulled away and was kept to the task. J J PACHECO chased between rivals early, chased two wide on the turn, dug in gamely in the stretch and earned the place spot. CLEVER CHARLIE was off slow and steadied, quickly recovered and moved up inside, chased inside, chased on the turn and was outkicked for second. SUPERFRACTOR chased four wide early, then two wide on the turn and rallied mildly on the rail. NOON TIME TIDE chased three wide, chased on the turn and tired. TIZ AWESOME raced off the rail, off the pace, came four wide into the lane and did not factor. GOLDEN SPIRIT raced off the pace inside and was outrun.
