Chart notes
INSENSITIVE saved ground around the first turn, settled along the inside just off the top pair up the backstretch, came under some mild urging late on the far turn, shifted three wide in the upper stretch, given cue, responded and drew clear. WILD BOUT HILARY quickly cleared the lead and angled inside soon after the start, set the pace with pursuers sitting in close range, held off the bid from CORNINGSTONE near the quarter pole, edged ahead and put to a drive, dug in gamely under pressure and got overtaken late. CORNINGSTONE raced two wide around the first turn and was forwardly placed just off the leader through the backstretch, advanced to race in aim for the lead near the quarter pole, ran on two wide into the lane, raced in striking distance but lacked the needed response to get by. HOOSIER PHILLY settled two wide just off the early pace, flattened a bit and came under a ride mid-way around the far turn, had no response when called upon and ran on evenly through the lane. BROKEN HEARTS BAY raced three wide around the first turn and stalked in good position up the backstretch, urged right handed near the quarter pole, failed to kick on, swung wider for the drive and steadily weakened.
