Chart notes
VICTORIOUS VANDA bumped at the start, set a pressured pace to the second turn, drew off for a clear lead and held safely under mild urging. OUTLAW RUN moved up on the backstretch to press the pace along the inside, awaited room on the turn, bid when clear, came up empty and finished second best. MENDELSSOHN JOY angled out on the first turn, stalked the pace while racing towards the outside, had little left for the drive and held safely for show. SHOTGUN RUNNER pressed the pace while racing in hand, dropped back on the turn and flattened out. COMMUNITY SERVICE was never far back, raced outside, had nothing left for the drive and gave way. JET STREAM broke out and bumped at the start to be off slowly and trailed the field.
