Chart notes
BORDER SONG was under a snug hold leaving the opening turn, waited in traffic in the backstretch, found a seam at the head of the lane, and drew off when asked. CONCRETE COWBOY set the pace from along the rail, was overtaken into the stretch, and held on for place. J DUTTON was three to four wide into the opening turn, stalked four wide, rallied four wide at the quarter pole, and was unable to improve position late in the stretch after a determined effort. GINGERS GIANT sat just off the pacesetter, shuffled back in traffic at the head of the lane, and yielded. TENNESSEE MOSES was five wide entering the first turn, lodged a wide bid in the final turn and gave way. STRATEGIC DECISION saved to no avail.
