Chart notes
OPTIMISTIC COWGIRL had her rider reach down with his left hand to undo the lead strap nearing the first turn then tossed it over the inner rail, regrouped and was angled out to about the four path to edge up and stalk, remained four wide and had aim of a three pronged pace scrum into the far turn, responded when given her cue and bid to threaten outside rivals approaching the stretch, moved to a slim lead outside GLEE exiting the furlong grounds, kept on under repeated right handed asks and edged clear late. GLEE broke alertly and took a slim lead heading to the first turn, handled outer pressure from a pair of foes through the backstretch and final turn, emerged in a duel inside the winner past mid stretch, could not quite match stride inside the sixteenth pole and gave way grudgingly. SWEET KARAT CAKE broke a bit slow, edged up four wide into the first turn to contest the pace, vied three deep through the backstretch and final turn, gained a short lead under a ride past the five sixteenths, failed to go on between runners near mid stretch and faded. RUBY CANTU , a bit keen off heels soon into the backstretch while saving ground, remained inside stalking the leaders past the three eighths, was under pressure into the stretch but came up empty. BLUE HEAVENLY , close up between foes through the backstretch run, angled three wide leaving the far turn, chased to the head of the lane and weakened. TAPS MISTRESS unseated her rider when rearing in the gate pre race, regrouped and sparred between foes through the opening five eighths, failed to keep pace under a ride into the lane and gave way.
