Chart notes
SMILING CAPOTE chased in the two path on the first turn, dueled from outside up the backstretch, cleared into the far turn, led three wide into the lane, challenged by GREY AREA with a quarter mile remaining, drifted out while battling down the stretch and dug in to prevail. GREY AREA forwardly placed in the three path early, followed three deep into the far turn, took aim four wide turning for home, challenged from outside at the top of the lane, also drifted while dueling with SMILING CAPOTE down the stretch and finished gamely to the wire. RIDING BY chased along the inside, between foes into the far turn, entered the lane in the two path, bid inside the top pair but could not find the needed final kick in the late stages. WEBSTER traveled two wide into the first turn, moved to the three path briefly before returning to the two path, moved into range on the backstretch, angled out and came five wide into the lane but flattened out in the furlong grounds. DONTGETFOOLEDAGAIN raced up close along the rail, got shuffled back behind WOODROW CALL entering the far turn, tipped to the two path, angled out for the drive and lacked a rally. JUMPER CABLES reserved in the early stags two wide then along the rail, continued on the fence into the far turn, steered out to the five path and was never a factor. FIRECRACKER MOLLY trailed three then four wide on the clubhouse turn, had one rivals beat leaving the backstretch, driven five wide into the lane and had little left for the stretch run. WOODROW CALL showewd the way in the two path early, dueled from inside in the middle stages, failed to keep up with the leader into the far turn, weakened around the far turn and tired.
