TABLOID MATERIAL was content to track the leader just outside in the early going, moved in when forced to go due to the outside rival having made a charge with five sixteenths from the finish line, poked her head in front inside two furlongs from the wire and determinedly prevailed on the fence in a lengthy stretch battle. TAKEMYBOURBONNEAT broke out but was quickly corrected on the start, stalked three deep on the outside at the half, made a quick move coming to the leaders three wide in midturn, bid outside for the lead with a quarter mile from home, dug in outside dueling for the front down the entire lane but could not get by the stubborn winner late. ENCHANTED FOREST settled on the rail in mid-pack along the backside, waited behind the embattled trio at the five sixteenths pole, angled out gathering momentum four wide straightening out for the drive and closed belated to be a non threatening third at the finish. CLARAYOUTHEBEST was unhurried on the rail along the back straight, was under a ride but was making little headway on the field through the running around the oval, shifted just off the fence for the stretch drive and had some late interest to pass a weary rival outside in deep stretch. SAUCY NAME broke out on the break, shook loose on the lead along the backside setting a soft pace, had company outside midway on the turn, offered slight resistance on the fence when urged but only until the quarter pole and yielded on the rail by mid-stretch.
