Chart notes
BAYTOWN DREAMER showed the way two wide before tucking to the inside as an outer rival applied pressure into the backstretch, maintained an advantage around the far turn, shook clear in upper stretch and held sway. SO SPECIAL prompted along the inside before backing off to stalk around the first turn, shifted to the three path with nine sixteenths to go, pursued outside of the top pair around the far turn, ranged up to take aim on the leader in upper stretch, but was kept at bay while sparring for place with an inner rival through the final furlong and prevailed for that position. ZAKINTHOS pursued from midpack along the inside, saved ground while tracking around the far turn, inched forward to be within striking range just behind the leader entering the lane, but only managed to chase evenly while dueling for place with an outer foe into the final furlong, but was bested for that position. STILL SOBER leaned inwardly and into open space at the start, tracked two wide, got floated to the four path with nine sixteenths to go, tucked back two wide and chased from midpack around the far turn, then surpassed a tiring rival in midstretch while lacking a bid. NO HAY DOS broke outwardly then bobbled subtly soon after the start, lacked speed in the two path and made little impact. MYKONOS pressed three to two wide and outside of the eventual winner into the backstretch, took an awkward stride approaching the half mile pole, sustained pressure around the far turn but weakened between horses entering the lane. UNBRIDLED'S MAP raced off of the pace in the two to three path around the first turn, saved ground around the far turn and tired. TOO BIG TO RIG broke slowly, trailed in the three path and got outrun.
