Chart notes

SWIFTWIND tracked in the four path early and to the inside of a rival, angled out leaving the far turn, circled five wide with progress into the stretch, sustained a grinding run under right handed asking, took over outside rivals in deep stretch and was edging away a bit at the wire. TAPIT FIRST , five then four wide prompting outside the leader, bid under a ride nearing the quarter pole, forced the issue past mid stretch, kept on gamely between rivals and got place in the final yards. ROSE A , off slowly, settled off the early pace while saving ground, eased out with an advance nearing the lane, dropped back towards the inner rail in upper stretch, closed inside rivals, fought on near even terms to deep stretch then hung late. POWER CONNECTION drafted back off the early pace while well off the inside, came seven wide for the drive and offered a belated response. WEDDING MARCH moved up to the inside of TAPIT FIRST and put a head in front after a furlong, pulled clear soon after and set the pace three wide, took outer pressure nearing the lane, stayed on between rivals leaving mid stretch then weakened late. GREY MARKET pursued along the inside, gained slightly mid turn, failed to kick on under a ride in upper stretch and gave way.
