Chart notes
BLUEBONNET GIRL , five wide off of a hotly contested pace, rolled up and bid five wide outside rivals leaving the five sixteenths, took a slim lead near mid stretch and drove clear. CITY GHOST set a pressured pace inside a host of rivals, entered the lane in the three path, dueled inside the winner past mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. ICY RIVER vied four deep into the turn, remained four wide with pursuit into the lane then went evenly in the final furlong. LA VIKINA , well off the embattled leaders, swung out in upper stretch and had a belated response. GEE GEE vied between runners, was shuffled back nearing the three eighths, regrouped to make an inside run into the stretch then flattened out. DANNYBOB , three deep and between foes in the early four horse scrum, stayed on to press to the head of the lane then faded.
