Chart notes
HOWBEIT chased two wide into the turn, waited behind the top trio, swung out into the lane, took lead at the three-sixteenths pole and drove clear. HALO UNCLE showed early speed four deep then chased up the backstretch, took the turn, four, five then six wide, finished willingly down the lane and gained second. QUE SERA SIR RALPH vied for the lead from inside, dueled early on the turn then fought between rivals again leaving the bend, lost command into the stretch, fought onto the eighth pole and flattened late. WINDRIBBON fought for the lead three deep, led into the stretch, lost command at the three-sixteenths pole and weakened in deep stretch. THE BIG CHEESEOLA vied between rivals for command, dueled from outside then again between rivals around the bend, yielded at the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. BIG DON'S SMILING chased widest in the early going, traveled five, six, then seven wide into the lane and faded.
