Chart notes
FLY ZAPPER sprinted clear and set the tone up the backstretch, led two then three wide around the bend, set down for the drive in upper stretch, maintained a comfortable lead into deep stretch and was never challenged. ALAN'S CONQUEST broke in and bumped, chased five wide into the turn, angled to the three path on the turn, steered back out approaching the stretch and outdueled FAST SERVICE for the place honors. FAST SERVICE bumped leaving the gate, chased outside a rival into the turn, remained two wide to the stretch, followed within striking distance down the lane, could not summon the needed late kick and got edged for second. UPLIFT coaxed along early from off the pace, took the turn two wide and offered a mild response to round out the superfecta. ST BOADIN chased four wide into the turn, moved over to the five path, drifted out into the lane and failed to produce a bid. BIG BET traveled near the back off the rail, took the turn three then four wide and was never a factor. SIX HOT GRANDS broke in and bumped, was closest in pursuit three wide into the turn, spun four wide into the stretch and weakened. NAVY JACK (GB) bumped leaving the gate, chased from inside to the lane and weakened. CAPTAIN WILLIS trailed wide up the backstretch, angled into the four path entering the turn, steered to the rail around the bend, moved out into the lane and was never involved.
