Chart notes
SHOGUN BE FAST quickly showed in front, set the pace on the inside, shook free on the far turn, responded when roused, drew clear and held well under urging. BRAMBLE BLAZE raced two wide off the pace, moved up four wide entering the far turn, advanced two wide on the turn, rallied, finished well but second best. WORD FOR WORD raced two wide off the pace, moved up three wide entering the far turn, then between rivals and rallied mildly. JERRY'S TURN stalked close up two wide, pressed the pace on the backside, chased on the far turn and weakened. BETWEEN THE COVERS raced off the pace inside, moved up three wide on the far turn and gained mildly outside. FOOD BANK HELPER trailed the field, moved up four wide at the half mile marker, three wide on the far turn and failed to threaten. NIMMO raced off the pace with an inside trip and did not factor. CISCO KID stalked two wide, chased on the turn and faded. LAST SECOND LOUIE tracked inside and gave way.
