Chart notes
CHASING AFTER YOU sped to the lead soon after the start and set the uncontested pace, widened advantage still unasked around the far turn, saved ground entering the head of the lane, came under some mild urging, responded, kept clear and finished ridden out. JANES GIRLS was forwardly placed along the rail around the first turn, stalked the pacesetter through early stages, picked up the pace midway up the backstretch, sustained bid for CHASING AFTER YOU around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive and had to settle for second best. LITTLE DIXIE raced two wide into the first turn and tracked the pace in early stages, edged a bit closer mid-way up the backstretch, chased two wide around the far turn, ran on into the lane and secured a share. MO SENSE was allowed to settle out of the gate and raced in the back to the far turn, hustled along three wide into the upper stretch and failed to respond. SENSIBLE CHOICE was forwardly placed two wide around the first turn, sat outside a rival and stalked the early pacesetter, was ridden along between foes past the half mile marker, could not sustain bid near the three eighths pole and steadily faded.
