Chart notes
CASTAGNO stalked the pacesetters to the far turn, rallied four wide between rivals to take the lead in upper stretch, pulled clear and was never threatened down the stretch. SMILE BRYAN trailed the field while unhurried for the first half mile, commenced a steady bid midway on the final turn and closed willingly to be along for the place. TRIPLE START tracked the leaders to the half mile pole, rallied into the turn circling five wide to loom at the quarter pole, dueled to upper stretch, was no match fro the winner and flattened out finishing evenly. SILVER STYLE pressed the pace from three wide to the half mile pole, shook free from the dueling early pacesetter to briefly take command to midway on the far turn, was challenged on the bend, had no answer and weakened coming home. VELOCE set a pressured pace from the fence for the first half and came up empty on the final turn.
