Chart notes
DUNEDIN rated in mid-pack in a clear pocket to the turn, closed the margin on the bend while saving ground, angled out for the drive and closed well to be going away late. TODDCHERO stalked the pace tucked in just behind the dueleing pacesetters to the three-eighths pole, angled four wide to engage the leaders at the quarter polee, took a clear lead in upper stretch and finished willingly while unable to hold off the winner. TOWN BARBER reserved well off the pace into the turn and mounted a mild bid from five wide in the lane to be along for the show. DIAMOND DUST set a pressured pace dueling on the lead from the rail and weakened turning for home. WOODCHUCK tossed his head in first few strides away from the gate, settled into stride and went evenly posing no threat. SNOWNAME pressed the pace for a half and gave way.
