Chart notes
ANGEL OF HOPE dueled inside, shook loose nearing mid-stretch and lasted holding off late finisher. CAROUSEL QUEEN lacked speed, advanced very wide and closed well too late. DOUBLE AIRO saved ground throughout, was asked for run on the turn then flattened out in the stretch. IMPERIO AZTECA vied outside winner to the stretch and faltered. GINGERSAYSCHILL lagged far behind inside, moved wide and was never a factor. MAXIMUS ANGELICUS stalked the pacesetters three wide then stopped abruptly in the stretch.
