THELMA LUCILLE trailed down the backstretch, circled rivals three wide into the stretch, made the lead before the furlong marker under left handed urging and drew clear under confident handling. BEAUTIFUL CHARADE pressed the pace two wide down the backstretch, made the lead entering the turn, set the pace into the stretch then was no match for the winner. DANCE DRAMA had good early speed three wide, dropped back on the turn, drifted out and came on again late. PENNY'S TREASURE set a pressured pace along the inside for three furlongs, kept on into the stretch, shifted out three wide near the furlong marker and was outfinished.
