Chart notes
ANGEL'S MAGIC set the pace raced in hand to the second turn and held safely while kept to task. CRAFTY KING angled out on the first turn, raced outside while never far back, advanced to the turn, closed steadily, couldn't gain ground and held for place. GLENDALE saved ground, lacked room on the second turn, bid off the rail when clear and closed to get up for show. MY CALANTE stalked the pace, rallied on the turn to threaten, bid and came up empty late. ITS A BOY was unhurried early, went widest in the drive and lacked the needed late response. HEAT N REHEAT raced close to the pace along the inside, rallied on the turn to loom a threat, had little left for the drive and dropped back. EL JOY showed speed to the second turn and flattened out. WAR CHEST trailed the field.
