Chart notes
LA GIRVINA tracked the leaders for the first three quarters, rallied turning for home and closed well to be clear late. ALCOHOL raced mid-pack through the far turn in striking distance and made a steady advance in the lane to be up for the place. STARSHIP BELMONT set the pace while well in hand to the far turn, responded when called upon to maintain the advantage to mid-stretch and couldn't last in the final sixteenth. RED PIXIE trailed to the head of the lane and made a mild bid coming home passing tired rivals. OMIKAMI saved ground while well placed to the final turn and lacked a closing response when called upon. LINNY KATE was reluctant to load, broke well moving up to prompt the pace through the first turn, continued to apply pressure to the pacesetter down the backside making a bid at the three-eighths pole and came up empty turning for home. GRACELEADSUSHOME failed to menace.
