Chart notes
NIGHT BLUE (IRE) broke outward and brushed with a rival, corrected and chased between runners early, saved ground past the five sixteenths, swung out in upper stretch, made a grinding run under right handed asking and got up in the final jumps. D' ARGONAUT , taken to rate while saving ground and off of a contested early pace, angled out approaching the three eighths then made a progress three wide into the lane, dropped back in towards the rail near the three sixteenths, advanced inside rivals past the sixteenth pole, moved to near even terms in deep stretch then was edged in a game effort. MARZ EATOATS grabbed a slim lead soon after the start, handled outer pressure into and around the turn, shook clear in the two path in upper stretch, wandered outward near mid stretch, continued to drift past the sixteenth pole and weakened very late. ESCOVEDO , brushed at the break, regrouped and pressed the pace two to three wide outside the leader, could not quite match strides past the three sixteenths, steadied as MARZ EATOATS drifted in mid stretch, altered inward after recovering but came up empty. MARY MOONGLOW , three deep into the turn, circled four wide with pursuit into the lane, shifted out wider past the three sixteenths but lacked a solid finish. BALLYBAY BEAUTY broke awkwardly, lagged off the pace, raced four wide into the lane, drifted in on her left lead and failed to get involved. CAME UP ROSES gave early chase to the inside of a pair of rivals, failed to kick on nearing the quarter pole and weakened. Following an objection by the rider of ESCOVEDO, MARZ EATOATS, was disqualified from third and placed fourth for causing interference in the stretch.
