JET FLIGHT hit the outer portion of his stall when breaking in the air, his rider briefly losing the right iron in the process, regrouped and was taken wide early, dropped inside with an advance near the half, eased back out with progress past the three eighths, swung out five to six wide into the lane, straightened away to sustain under a drive outside rivals, took over with about sixty yards remaining and drew clear. FLYING SAMURAI opened up a clear lead early on, set the pace towards the inside, was unfazed as foes closed in near the half, came off the rail and maintained the advantage under a ride in upper stretch, failed to fend off the winner's outer surge but continued on with good effort to hold down the place. MIDNIGHT BLUE NOTE stalked three wide, edged up into the far turn, was under a hearty ride pursuing between runners nearing the lane, chased on to the inside of rivals leaving mid stretch but lacked the needed finish. BREAKOUT STAR settled early, gained inside nearing the half, eased out then shifted four wide to chase outside runners past the five sixteenths, stayed on between horses in mid stretch but hung late. LAND MARK DEAL , four wide past the five eighths, chased outside a rival leaving the far turn, dropped to the inside approaching the stretch, came back out but lacked a solid run. BLURT stalked inside, took closer order into the far turn, was under heavy pressure chasing into the stretch, lacked a punch past the three sixteenths and weakened. TWO COOKIE RULE saved ground early, angled about four wide for the backstretch run, chased and gave way. WILDWOOD'S WARRIOR tossed his head about leaving the gate, checked when rank nearing the first turn, dropped well back soon after and failed to get involved.
