Chart notes
AH CA IRA saved ground on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, came under urging near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased in the two then three path for most of the far turn, shifted to the five path outside the quarter-pole, chased outside in the stretch, drifted in while gaining coming to the sixteenth-pole then took the lead, swapped back to her inside lead at that juncture then moved clear under a hand-ride to prevail. SWEET ANNIVERSARY went around the first turn in the three path, stalked the pace on the outside, took the lead passing the seven-sixteenths pole, inched away in the three path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a right-handed crop, led under a drive into the final furlong, lost the lead to the winner while shortening stride nearing the sixteenth-pole and weakened while just able to get the place. ROYAL BOBBIE stood in the gate and was off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, went around the first turn in the two path, moved out while settling off the pace, shifted to the outside of the field while moving closer inside the five-eighths pole, chased in the four path on the far turn, dropped inward into upper stretch, pursued the top two into the final furlong, moved out while willingly keeping on around the sixteenth-pole and just missed the place. PURPOSE broke a step slow, raced in the three path for most of the turn, checked sharply behind the fallen rider passing the three-quarter pole, settled at the back, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the far turn, saved ground under urging from that point into the stretch and came up empty. CHASING DAYLIGHT went to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, showed the way on the inside of an opponent, lost the lead passing the seven-sixteenths pole, chased inside on the far turn and faded. RODEO STAR shifted from the two path to the three path early on the first turn, came out a touch coming to the three-quarter pole, had GRACE REFORMED clip her heels at that juncture, was well placed just off the pace, came up empty in the three then four path on the far turn and retreated then was eased but walked off. GRACE REFORMED rounded the first turn in the four path, had her left foreleg clip the hind right leg of RODEO STAR and stumbled badly at the three-quarter pole, unseated the rider in the process then was caught by an outrider and transported off the track via equine ambulance.
