SPIRITUAL LADY lost her footing some at the start but came out in front, was well placed while rated just off the pace, drafted in the two path on the turn, waited behind horses into upper stretch, was asked while altering out behind those foes inside the three-sixteenths pole, drifted out some near the furlong marker then was straightened by the rider and put to a right-handed crop, took the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and just held under strong urging. LOOKS FIRST broke a half-step slow then steadied after the start, settled towards the rear, moved from the inside to the three path while roused on the turn, angled to the five path outside the quarter-pole, rallied outside in upper stretch and closed fast to just miss while clear for the place. OUR LIBERTY BELLE brushed with a rival at the start, moved out while urged along at the rear, angled in leaving the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the two path on the turn, rallied into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and finished willingly to just get the show. SHORT SHIFT brushed with a rival at the start while hustled, tossed her head and steadied outside the five-eighths pole then moved to the outside, tracked the leader from that point, was given her cue in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid at the top of the stretch, took the lead near the three-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished then just lost the show. DESPO'S DREAM was urged along on the outside, dropped back late on the backstretch, went around most of the turn in the four path then moved to the five path, spun into the stretch in the six path and improved but missed the minor awards. SPRING MAGIC pressed the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, dropped to the two path while on even terms for the lead into the stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. KILLY START was off a half-step slow, raced off the pace under urging, went around the turn in the four path, turned into the stretch under the crop and lacked the needed response. PROBLEMATICA went to the front then set the pace under pressure to her outside while off the rail, was asked under heavy threat coming to the quarter-pole, dropped to the inside early on the turn, lost the lead in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and faltered.
