Chart notes
DEMAND crossed over gradually moving up to challenge the front, gained the lead in the far turn, drew clear and held on. SMOOTH SICARIO broke in sharply, hustled inside, dropped back in the far turn, roused four wide at the head of the lane, closed under heavy encouragement and missed after a determined effort. MOON MULLINS settled off the early pace, bid three wide at the quarter pole, closed gradually under urging, and missed after a multi-horse scramble to the wire. SKY MUSIC chased inside, rallied at the head of the stretch, angled to the rail midstretch and was outkicked. FED BOY was sent to the front for the early lead, but was overtaken leaving the backstretch, and chased to no avail through the stretch. METAPHOR fanned three wide in the far turn, rallied at the head of the lane and faded. TOPPWAY lacked a bid. JUSTINFLATION was allowed to settle four to five wide, and was done early.
