Chart notes
DRILLING REPORT pressed the pace, challenged between horses on the turn, swung seven wide entering the stretch, vied to mid stretch and inched clear under urging. DIXIE STREET stalked the pace, raced five wide to the turn, challenged three across, swung eight wide entering the stretch, bid willingly to contend, yielded late and held for place. ONCOMING TRAIN set a pressured pace to the turn, swung out entering the stretch, dropped back, continued willingly to the wire and didn't have enough late. EMERALD EXPRESS stalked the pace, angled in on the turn, bid off the rail to contend, hung late and lost position. CRIME SPREE pressed the pace along the inside to the turn, dropped back, was not urged in the stretch and faded. HOOSIER saved ground in an even effort and improved position. FLASHY PREMO was outrun and not urged in the stretch. ALLEVA raced close to the pace along the inside, dropped back on the turn, angled out and gave way. OUR FREDDIE MAC was fractious in the post parade, reared at the start and lost the rider. The stewards' posted an inquiry concerning the start. No change was made.
