Chart notes
SUPERFIGHT contested early pace three wide, kept to task stretch, held late. THEO'S THUNDER unhurried, asked five wide to stretch, finished well, got up in time for second. GUYS TRIP pressed the pace two wide between to the turn, raced in tight, took an awkward step and checked at the quarter marker, fought on into the stretch, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and held for third. GARRINCHA took back, roused three wide to stretch, gaining late, missed for third. HERETICKLE lacked early speed, gain three to four wide to stretch, could not sustain that run and weakened in the final sixteenth. AIR FORCE ROYALTY tracked inside to two wide, was well placed to upper stretch then gave way in the final furlong. BIG BOB contested pace inside to turn, faltered stretch.
