Chart notes
LEXINGTON RIVER stalked the dueling leaders three or four wide, reeled them in through the far turn to bid about the quarter pole, went clear into the lane and widened under steady handling. PERVASIVE dueled on the pace inside KNIGHTED while under a hold early, continued with the winner into the lane and could not match strides while holding clear for the place. JAKE THE GREAT saved ground while trailing early, angled four wide nearing the lane and made a late run to move well clear for the show. KNIGHTED dueled on the lead outside PERVASIVE to the far turn and had nothing left nearing the lane. KO SAMUI (IRE) failed to mount a bid four wide.
