NU SOUP FOR BABY hopped at the start, and scrambled in the opening strides, and trailed the field into the stretch the first time while saving ground along the inside, commenced his bid from along the inside in the run to the final turn, steadied off heels entering the turn, re-rallied along the rail through the turn, and closed from along the inside in the drive to get up for the place. LOGICAL AL stalked the leaders from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, held a stalking trip from just off the rail in the run down the backside, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly two out from the rail in the drive to garner a share. THIRSTY FRIEND away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backstretch, was overtaken entering the final turn, and was outfinished over the final furlong. STANFORD NORTH broke sharply and dueled for the lead from the outside of THIRSTY FRIEND entering the lane the first time, forced the issue two wide in the run down the backside, was overtaken entering the final turn, and weakened over the final furlong.
