Chart notes
LEMORIAN broke a step behind the field, hustled up unscathed through the chute, quickened pace widened around the turn, drew away driving through the final sixteenth. TIZ THE REASON veered inward impeded foes through the chute, chased on second best, DQ. SPECIAL NOTE chased off the rail into the turn, angled inside leaving the furlong marker, closed the gap willingly through the wire. SULTRY SALLY H bumped inward through the chute, swung out six deep into the lane, left lead, flattened out late. PEGGY'S WAY pressed hard two wide into the turn, under pressure in upper stretch faded through the final stages. BALI HAI roused on off the pace to turn, inside bid quarter, had no late punch. COWGIRL ATTITUDE bumped shuffled chute, never able regain momentum came up empty through the stretch. GREEN GABLES slow out of the chute, never factored. There was a jockey's objection in this race, the rider of COWGIRL ATTITUDE claimed foul against the rider of TIZ THE REASON for interference through the chute, after the judge's review TIZ THE REASON was disqualified and placed seventh.
