Chart notes
DRILL'S LI'L MAN vied inside a duo in opening stages, shook free leaving the turn, responded willingly when called upon, pulled away and kept to task. ROCK CITY ROCKET vied three deep for the lead in opening stages, battled on around the turn, could not match strides with eventual winner turning for home but ran and finished clearly second best. SHIPS ON FIRE raced off the early pace, saved ground into the stretch and captured a share. LATE FOR LUNCH tracked the embattled trio, hustled along four wide going by the quarter pole, weakened off the top pair in the lane and got edged late for show. MILTON STREET vied between rivals in opening stages, battled on around the turn then tired in the drive. CONCEPT was not too far back in early stages, flattened around the turn, came two wide into the lane and offered no late run. LEAPIN TY MAN chased three to four wide and never threatened.
