Chart notes
FORTUNE DREAMS stalked the pacesetter from off the inside up the backstretch, moved to the lead past the three-eighths, was shadowed by an outside foe till the top of the stretch, kicked clear at that point and held well under moderate urging. TONE OF SILENCE settled outside, advanced four wide on the turn, was within striking distance at the quarter pole, proved no match for the winner but was clearly second best. RUNNETH OVER settled between at the back, raced three to five wide throughout, ran on for show. JUSTONEMOREGEORGIE broke in just a bit, was very briefly forced out early, settled in behind tracking inside on or just off the rail, failed to rally. LA MEDUSA chased early, was between foes up the backstretch, swung out seven wide coming into upper stretch, drifted a bit, was never a threat. BLACK BETY broke just a step slowly and in tight, was urged forward inside and clear, set the pace, gave way.
