Chart notes
SLAM NOTION stalked the pace outside horses down the backstretch, circled the turn four wide, secured command in upper stretch, went clear and was kept to his business in the drive. BARBADIAN RUNNER raced along the inner rail on the turn, eased out approaching the stretch, swung to the five path in upper stretch and rallied. RE MARKABLY disputed the pace outside SAXTON and weakened the final furlong. SAXTON , kept in the two path around the turn and in the stretch, disputed the pace to mid stretch and gave way. BOLD DIVERSION lacked speed, swung to the six path in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. REGGIE RUNS ROGUE saved ground on the turn, remained along the rail in a striking position in upper stretch and flattened out. STUDLYDORIGHT , never a factor, stayed along the rail on the turn then angled out to no avail in mid stretch. SACRED THUNDER , wide on the turn, floated to the seven path in upper stretch.
