Chart notes
SEIZETHEDAYDUDE was pushed from the break for forward position, made the front with GO GET TRAE pressing the issue to the outside, was going well in hand to the top of the stretch, then responded when set down and drew clear under steady handling in a solid debut. MR MO MONEY was outpaced from the break, tracked, four wide mid-pack, went after the leaders leaving the five-sixteenths pole, finished up well despite racing on the left lead, but could not get to the winner. RUNFORJUSTICE broke well then steadily retreated to be at the back going into the turn, launched a bid from the five-sixteenths marker, angled out to the four path for the stretch run, and produced a good finish to gain the third prize. BENNIE BEE broke well and was very briefly contesting the early pace, backed off to mid-pack, kept to the inside and finished evenly. GO GET TRAE stumbled exiting the gate, veered in sharply, taking ONGOING CHALLENGE out in the process, hustled up to press SEIZETHEDAYDUDE through the turn, was unable to go on with that rival, weakened in upper stretch and was kept to task to the wire. IN THE GRAY was put in tight quarters just after the break, tracked well off the pace three wide, moved out a path late on the turn to set up a rally that never came to pass. ONGOING CHALLENGE took up when GO GET TRAE came over and took the path at the start, spotted the field several lengths head start and did not factor in the outcome. EXAGGERIFIC veered in after the start, was under a ride from the outset, raced three four wide close up to the turn, then lacked any response late. DIRTY DEAL was off slowly, raced at the back, and never threatened.
