Chart notes
LEGENDARY LORE stalked the pace along the inside, angled out on the turn, bid four wide, dueled for the lead, inched away under steady left handed urging and held under pressure. CAWKAB saved ground to the turn, angled out, went five wide entering the stretch, bid willingly to contend and was outfinished in a good effort. LEA ME BE set a pressured pace to the second turn, drew clear entering the stretch, was outclosed and held safely for show. DOC HIGGINS pressed the pace two across, dropped back entering the stretch and gave way. JIM NED broke out, raced mid pack in an even effort and failed to threaten. COOL MEMORY raced in the second flight, went widest in the drive and had nothing left. ABSAROKA broke slowly and was not a factor. GORDON ANTHONY was outrun. The stewards' posted an inquiry concerning possible interference in deep stretch. No change was made.
