Chart notes

TEXAS HOLIDAY was eager up top moving quickly on the rail in the early going, slowed the pace down along the back straight, continued comfortably in control unchallenged around the last turn and pulled away when asked for more at the furlong marker to score a dominant front-end win at the finish line. STARSHIP SERENITY co-trailed inside into the first turn, settled at the rear along the backside, weaved through runners making a sharp rally midpoint on the last bend, shifted out four wide gathering speed in upper stretch, was full of run at the furlong marker and got up just before the finish line outside to capture the runners up share. MISS BOUJEE had a good spot all alone tracking the lone speed, closed the gap at the half mile marker, was scrubbed on for more run but could not gain on the leader with a quarter mile from home, chased in vain in upper stretch and just got caught right at the wire for the runners up share well back of the winner. FAULTFINDER settled on the rail in mid-pack made little movement between horses along the backside, started to make a rally splitting rivals midway on the last turn, shifted out four wide dueling for a minor placing in upper stretch and dug in late to be a fringes player at the finish line. CALL ME KAYKAY angled inwards after the break to track the lead three on the fence into the first turn, improved inside along the backside to sit just behind the pacesetter into the last bend, came under a ride holding the show position on the rail through the far turn and faded slightly inside runners in the late going to just get nabbed for a minor placing at the wire. SERENADING KITTEN was in tight appearing to clip heels soon after the break, was getting out trailing six wide outside foes in the first of two turns, improved four deep along the backside, had trouble going four to five wide navigating the final turn and could not get involved down the stretch. CHERVONARUTA was brushed inside at the break, stalked on the fence ahead of a couple on rivals inside on the first turn, edged up on the rail narrowing the gap along the backside, offered a brief rally from the three eighths pole to the quarter marker, shifted out three wide for the drive to thw wire with a chance for a piece of the prize but stalled between foes at the furlong pole. NASHYAN made a good early move getting to the two path to watch the lead two on the first bend, kept a close eye on the lead pair while in the three path down the back straight, was being passed inside unable to hold position three wide at the five sixteenths pole, angled out seven wide turning for home and could not offer a finish outside rivals. SALMIAKKI broke out on the break, travelled outside in midfield, made little headway down the backstretch between runners, was under a drive but was being passed on each side while in the three path with three eighths left to run and came up empty three wide down the stretch. FORE FIVE BUCKS stalked near the back going five wide on the initial turn, dropped back down the backside to be last at the half mile marker, was well behind the field saving ground through the last turn, caught up to a rival inside at the top of the stretch but had no more to give in the stretch drive.
