Chart notes
BAOBAB raced back early on, was in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane four wide and edged clear in the late stages. ROCKET NIGHT chased the pace early on, made a bid nearing the lane, was in the three path into the lane, under a long drive down the lane and came back for place in the final stages. GOOD NEWS ROCKET tracked the pace early on three wide, took over command near the three eighths pole, was on the inside into the lane, drew clear in the stretch but yielded and lost place at the wire. STRATEGIST stalked the early trio, raced in the five path into the lane and finished willingly late in the stretch run. BIGWRIGDUDE vied for the lead early along the inside, raced in the two path into the lane and flattened out late in the stretch drive. BLAKELY'S BOY was unhurried early on, raced in the four path into the lane with a belated gain late in the stretch. HALFWAY TEMPTED broke awkwardly and was never a factor. STRAIGHTAWAY was a tad slow at the start and was through after a half. SILVER SCREEN set the pace for a half from between horses then folded up.
