PURE ROCKET dueled on the pace about the two or three path inside REGINALD AURELIUS to late in the turn, edged clear nearing the lane and held safe under steady handling. JUSTIN SPEIGHT followed the pace three or four wide early, moved inside on the turn and rallied clear for the place but could not get to the winner. REGINALD AURELIUS dueled on the pace outside the winner to late in the turn and had nothing left for the drive. FAMILY TRADITION saved ground and made a late gain but could not threaten. STOOPS SINE DIE tracked the leaders from three wide to late in the turn and weakened.
