Chart notes
SUPER BRADY stalked a four-ply pace scrum while three wide outside a rival, angled out to be about six wide in upper stretch, closed determinedly under left handed encouragement, forged to command outside rivals in deep stretch and was edging away at the wire. BRAHMS BOY vied inside a trio of rivals and poked a head in front into the turn, took pressure past the five sixteenths, shook clear in upper stretch, kept on under a drive past the furlong grounds, dug in when confronted a sixteenth out then gave way grudgingly. GRAPNEL broke a step slow, regrouped and edged up to be forward into the turn, waited behind the embattled leaders mid turn, eased out a path and found a seam into the stretch, moved up to threaten near the sixteenth pole but hung a bit late. STRAIGHT LUCK vied four deep into and around the turn, was fanned out a path soon into the stretch, gave willing chase to about the sixteenth marker then came up empty late. BLINGO was into the pace scrum soon after the break, battled three to four wide between runners to upper stretch, brushed with an inner foe near md stretch and faded. POMEROY HAZE lagged back off the heated pace, worked outward in the lane, offered a belated response but failed to get involved. CAJUN WARRIOR , four to five wide pursuing the pace, came up empty. PLAY RULE sped to a slim early lead two wide and between foes, ceded the lead into the turn, stayed on to force the issue to the head of the stretch, brushed with an outer rival near the furlong grounds then weakened.
