Chart notes
HUSKER BUTCH led the way around the first turn and set the pace up the backstretch, repelled the bid from TEN DAYS LATER near the quarter pole, was ridden along two wide into the upper stretch and kept to task. TEN DAYS LATER raced two wide around the first turn and was forwardly placed entering the backstretch, pressed the leader going by the half mile marker, given cue approaching the quarter pole, could not get by the eventual winner, ran on two to three wide in the lane and held place. DOUBLECHECK raced up close around the first turn, stalked the top pair up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, put to a drive along the rail at the head of the lane, edged closer then ran on evenly late and got out-nodded for place. KARAOKE rated off the top trio in early stages, was ridden along late on the far turn, kept under a ride three to four wide into the stretch and narrowly missed out on runner up spots. DINNER AT CRUMPIES raced off the pace, hustled along two wide into the upper stretch and had no response. PLEASEUSETHEPORTAL raced in the last flight, swung four wide into the lane and never menaced.
