Chart notes
ADVENTURIST hustled from the gate, raced three wide through the first turn settling to prompt the leader and had one of his inside rivals toss a shoe just inside one mile to run, stacked three wide down the backstretch, had the middle rival back out half a mile from home and intensified the pressure through the far turn coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, took over command and swung three wide into upper stretch, drew clear under a drive kept to task. UNCLE BARRIE hustled from the start, chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, kept on to secure the place honors. ARTICLE hustled from the gate, raced four wide into the first turn before tucking briefly three wide, headed back to the four path down the backstretch settling just off the pace, came under coaxing at the half mile pole, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. BELMONT UNION bobbled at the break, chased two then three wide coming under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, went seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. SMALLCHANGEGEEP established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside under some pressure from a pair of rivals to the outside, had the pressure intensify half a mile from home, got coaxed along near three furlongs to run and attempted to get out coming under a firm left handed tug to keep inside, yielded the front just outside the quarter pole, spun just off the inside at that station before floating three wide straightened away and weakened. DAYTONA MOONSHINE hustled from the gate, pressed the leader two then three wide between foes to nearing the half mile pole, retreated at that station and through the far turn, went six wide into upper stretch and tired. MONOMOYS PARTNER coaxed from the start, raced three wide through the first turn, chased three to four wide coming under a ride at the seven-sixteenths, tipped five wide into upper stretch and made no impact.
