SOLID LEFT broke in at the start, vied early on from the inside then backed off and stalked the leader, made a bid nearing the lane, was under a long drive down the lane, edged off foe inside the sixteenth pole and held off another in the final stages. AIRBORNE ELITE tracked the pace early on, raced in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane with a late bid but did not have enough in the final stages. EVENING NEWS vied for the lead early on two wide, took over command, raced in the three path into the lane, was under a long drive down the lane and yielded late in the drive. INTERLOCK EMPIRE chased the pace early from the inside, raced in the three path into the lane while making a bid but weakened late in the stretch run. EXPLOSIVELY staggered a bit at the start and raced back early on, was in the four path into the lane and flattened out late in the stretch drive. MUGATU was bumped at the start and never a factor. WHERE'S RANDY was never a threat.
