Chart notes
KULAPAT broke a step slow, settled well back along the inside, gained quickly with a four wide blitz around the far turn, sustained progress after fanning to the six path into the lane, reached the front at the furlong grounds, kicked clear and was put to hand in the final sixteenth. MAGNIFICENT RAGS leaned out and snagged the outer stall door upon leaving the gate, tracked from midpack along the inside while coming under a snug hold into the backstretch, saved ground while biding time behind rivals around the far turn, altered course to uncommit to a rail charge while searching for racing room behind foes reaching the furlong grounds, split foes in the final furlong and edged place from an outer rival. FROSTY BEER brushed an outer rival at the start, tracked along the inside, got outkicked by an outer rival while tipping to the four path entering the lane, ran on to gain place at the sixteenth pole but was bested by an inner foe late. WHERE Y'AT broke a step slow then bobbled subtly at the start, settled towards the rear in the two path, saved ground around the far turn before encountering traffic nearing the quarter pole, shifted out in the final furlong and moved up between horses late. STEEL VENOM bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, showed the way along the inside, met an outer challenge around the far turn, got headed by a wider bidder reaching the furlong grounds and weakened. HAMLET laid off of the pace in the two path, moved out to the four path into the backstretch, took the far turn in the three path and between rivals, shifted out to the six path into the lane and failed to menace. BIG ROG lacked speed along the inside, shifted out while at the rear entering the lane, fanned to the eight path in midstretch and failed to factor. EDIFICE was bumped between horses at the start, stalked in the two path, pressed the leader before vying turning for home, but weakened among foes in midstretch. TOM CAT TUESDAY tracked three wide, stalked the top pair around the far turn, but weakened between horses after getting floated to the five path entering upper stretch. SOUTHERN BULLET bumped with an inner foe at the start, steadied when put in crowded quarters between horses into the first turn, settled into stride midpack two wide, then tired between horses. MULA was pulled up around the first turn and transported off of the track in an equine ambulance.
