SHOULDABOUGHTDABAR settled off the embattled trio in early stages, moved up into contention three wide late on the turn, hustled along into the lane, captured the late head and just lasted. BROWNSTONE was unhurried and settled in the back, came under a ride and circled up four wide late on the turn, sustained three wide bid into the lane and just missed. ROME'S CONQUEST vied for the lead up the backstretch, briefly held a slim lead then came back under pressure at the quarter pole, shook free turning for home, continued to lead the way into the final furlong then got overtaken late. LOCK AND LOAD vied three deep for the early lead, edged back to press the leader briefly then moved back to engage ROME'S CONQUEST at the quarter pole, could not move on with rival leaving the turn and faded in the lane. WILLIAMS EMPIRE dueled for the early lead, chased two wide around the turn then tired in the drive.
