Chart notes
SPANISH CARA (IRE) prompted the pace down the backstretch, rallied three wide to assume command approaching the quarter pole, drew off quickly when called upon at the top of the lane and was geared down, in hand late. KITTY OF WAR tracked the leader from the clear to midway on the turn, rallied in a steady advance leaving the five-sixteenths pole, angled five wide in upper stretch and finished with a good gain as second best. SISTER SOLA stalked the pace through the turn to be prominent turning for home and lacked a closing bid going evenly in the lane. STRAWBERRY SKY reserved off the pace to be near the back of the pack turning for home, angled out for the drive and finished with a mild rally passed weaker foes. RIVERS RUN RED went evenly failing to respond when called upon. PROBLEM KID sped to the lead shortly away from the gate, came under pressure early on the turn, had no answer when challenged and faded from contention. JANES HOPE was not a factor.
